do/did you tattu 1050 45c 4s lipos get hot with those q4040 dalprops with your 1806 2300kv emax? i tried those props on my dys 1806 2300kv's but they drain the battery too fast and come down REALLY warm. the T4045 and TJ4045 seem to be good and less amp draw for my tattu 1050 45c 4s 's's's.

Sorry for the redulously late reply, yes way to hot and drained like crazy, changed to dal 4045 2blades and its much better

The ZMR was somebody else. But good to know! Plastic motors have always intrigued me. Do they have a metal shaft?

Wow, yeah those would break pretty quick. I had some DYS 1407s where the shafts broke quite readily. Turns out they had a production defect, but even then they were metal shafts.

The goal with this design was to build a low-cost, lightweight quad, yet powerful enough to safely carry a GoPro in close proximity areas. I chose these parts to minimize the amount of soldering at no cost to the quality. A typical build requires around 30 solders while this only needs 25. It's not a huge difference, but..

In late 2019 DJI made inroads into the FPV scene with their remarkable low-latency digital system. It gave us a 720p video feed with latency on-par with the status quo, analog video. Traditionally we've used analog video systems for low-latency video, but the video quality is far from ideal. It's a trade-off we've been willing to accept for the control. Now we've got the best of both worlds and what..
