About the build:

This an updated version of the Gatehunter RS5 Frame with slightly wider arms with more motor protection.
The kit now also includes a 4mm brace for the front arms to get even more durability. I have recently release a detailed build guide showing how to assemble the frame and giving some recommendations for component choices.
Go to https://www.gatehunter.com/rs-series to find it. Hope it's useful!

Frame weight breakdown:

  • Steel hardware: 10.5g
  • Arms: 4 x 7.1g
  • Bottom plate: 18.3g
  • Top plates: 2 x 2.5g
  • Canopy: around 16g depending on the version
    --> TOTAL : ~78g

Optional stuff:

  • 4mm carbon brace: 5.75g
  • TPU spacers: 0.5g

PS: Since I get this question a lot, Armattan ships from Taiwan and they take a maximum of two weeks to cut the parts plus a few days for the shipping. You can expect your order to arrive after 3-4 weeks total. This is a bit slow but the quality is amazing and the prices really good. Btw the carbon shown in the pictures is not from Armtattan but cut here locally for my prototypes. Armtattan looks better IMO.

The TBS Source One is a popular frame for it's low cost, high quality carbon fiber. It's easy to work with and provides more than enough space for your electronics. We've got a 32bit 4-in-1 ESC to bring you the smoothest flights..

You've probably heard the term "Cinewhoop". Traditionally it's a 3" ducted quad capable of carrying a GoPro Hero7 Black at a low 10 degree angle. More recently the term "Cine" has been applied to a number of RTF quads ranging from 85mm to 3". They all focus on their HD capability, but none compare to the stabilization of Hypersmooth (only available on the Hero7 Black). This is what really offers that..
