AirBlade Intrepid 7 Inch Long Range FPV

Summer is here and I will have plenty of chance to hit some mountain, so I built myself a second long range fpv drone. Check out the AirBlade Intrepid 7 inch Long Range.

The AirBlade Crossfire Immortal-T Mount allows you to rotate the Immortal-T antenna into any position which is incredibly convenient for long range fpv flight. You can fold it down for transportation. Definitely recommend that one! You can print the GoPro Hero 7 mount from Thingiverse.

With the 1800mAh 4S I get about 7 minutes cruising, with the GoPro on board.

The Radix F4 FC and Hobbywing XRotor 45A 6S 4in1 ESC went together really nicely. The AirBlade Intrepid frame has double stack 30x30 as well as 20x20 so there is plenty of space for your build. I put the ESC on the back stack and FC on the front stack. Beware that the ETHIX Konasty motors come with very short cable and you will need to extend it. I have another 7 inch build where I use the BrotherHobby Avenger 2507 and it has longer wires to work with. That said, the konasty moon boot motor is nice and you have plenty of power with that 2200kV.

The quad looks super nice. How does it fly? I am kind of liking the weaker magnest on the motors, they should be smoother, right? Is that true? How are the vibrations on 7" props? What is the weight?

Thanks! I'm still tuning in, it's almost there but I have some werid mid throttle oscillations that need more fine tuning. I do like the smooth feel of this motor. But tbh I also run the BH Avenger V2 and they're quite nice as well. I actually prefer the BH Avenger because it comes with longer wires.
