My first build. Its a pretty tight fit in the V3 Source One but I managed to get everything working. It flys great. I will probably end up changing the DJI antenna setup. I think it would work betting with longer antennas.
Very cool! I was trying to figure out how to fit this in the source one, but I didn't consider removing the standoffs.
I didn't print anything... I just cut some little plastic pieces with 2 holes and used some standoffs to shift the FC forward. There is probably a much cleaner way to move the FC or even the entire stack forward but I don't have a 3d printer. I would ultimately like to get something printed that just shifted the entire 30x30 stack forward.
what antenna mount did you use?
At the time of posting this I was using the Brain3d DJI mount... https://www.brain3d.co/collections/hd-antenna-sets/products/dji-hd-fpv-antenna-mount?variant=29466487881815
I've since gotten a pair of sma adapters and a pair of Xilo AXII LHCP antennas and I am getting noticably better range. I got 2 of these sets from BMC3D.... https://bmc3d.co/products/tbs-source-one-antenna-mount?_pos=2&_sid=1d5397298&_ss=r
you got 6s motors and battery but dji digital only runs on 4s. so did you do something's different?
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
