My first build. Its a pretty tight fit in the V3 Source One but I managed to get everything working. It flys great. I will probably end up changing the DJI antenna setup. I think it would work betting with longer antennas.

Very cool! I was trying to figure out how to fit this in the source one, but I didn't consider removing the standoffs.

I was considering mounting the Air unit above a 4-in-1 in the middle of the frame with a 20mm FC on the rear mounting holes. That should allow me to keep all the standoffs.

Hey, if possible, could you help me with the adapter? If you have a file I can print, that would be great. Thanks a lot!

I didn't print anything... I just cut some little plastic pieces with 2 holes and used some standoffs to shift the FC forward. There is probably a much cleaner way to move the FC or even the entire stack forward but I don't have a 3d printer. I would ultimately like to get something printed that just shifted the entire 30x30 stack forward.

what antenna mount did you use?

j4y   Oct 16, 2019

At the time of posting this I was using the Brain3d DJI mount... https://www.brain3d.co/collections/hd-antenna-sets/products/dji-hd-fpv-antenna-mount?variant=29466487881815
I've since gotten a pair of sma adapters and a pair of Xilo AXII LHCP antennas and I am getting noticably better range. I got 2 of these sets from BMC3D.... https://bmc3d.co/products/tbs-source-one-antenna-mount?_pos=2&_sid=1d5397298&_ss=r

Its my first real quad so I don't have much to compare it to.... but it seems to fly pretty good. Im tinkering with PID values now but it flew pretty smooth on default values.
