Reptile Cloud CineWhoop
help. can't get XM+ receiver to bind to my Radiomaster TX 16s. Keep getting blinking red led. The tx was bound to my TinyHawk S before so i know it works. I have the HD version of the Reptile Cloud with upgraded FC.
I've build similar one, with Zing 1408 motors and Gemfan props, but it makes huge noise, not sure it's because of the duct or the motors or the props. Is your build silent?
Thanks
i built one using T-Motor 1408 3750kv and its almost whisper quiet. No kidding! It didnt sart out that way though i buy larger than 3" props and trim them using a Shendrones prop trimmer such that they just barely scrape the ducts to start with and after a minute or two they abraid down to a very tight fit with no scraping and much greater thrust and efficiency and super quiet. most of the noise you hear on yours is the propeller blade tips going super sonic and the air rolling over thtips and beating against the ducts. According to ducted fan research, If the tip clearance is <1% of the blade length there is no supersonic effect and you get 20% to 50% thrust increase. Having built this drone and also a Shendrones GEYSER I believe it!!
I just built this with the DJI system. It's a pretty decent frame for the price!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
