First scratch build for me. I looked for and sourced parts that represented quality with some value. With some prudent shopping, came in at 250.00 even, give or take a few cents. Quality vs price is awesome!

While the 220x frame is all but bomb-proof, it was a tight build for a 220 sized frame.

Of Interest: In spite of the Omnibus F3 AIO having regulated/filtered power, I elected instead to simply power the FC via the 5v off of the Matek PTB XT60. There have been a few posts about the FC's inability to provide enough power to some cam/transmitter combos, potentially causing brief periods of vid feed loss. Sooo, I powered the cam via the Tramp's 5v output through the ram rail at video in/out on the FC. Finally, I powered the Tramp via the 12v off the PDB XT 60.

IMPORTANT - The Tramp manual recommends that you do not power via regulated power. DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have nice clean video feed with the Tramp never returning warm to the touch. Its a personal choice.

You powered the FC via the 5v BEC, but what about the vbat for monitoring the voltage?

True but there were reports of the FC getting really hot on VBat. Accurate OSD was less important to me than potentially cooking something on my first scratch build.

Don't get me wrong. I appreciate and am grateful for your advice. And I will resolve the issue shortly. Just explaining why I made the decisions that I did.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
