Didn't really care much for the Acro performance (TWR) of a 2" outdoors so I recently rebuilt my 2" Whirlygig into a 3" (https://rotorbuilds.com/build/19157)
This little Tri is uses Betaflight 4.1.1 and its "fancy" motor-filtering to provide superior handling.

Specs
Build weight 37 grams only camera but 54 grams with 2S 300mAh LiPo attached.
Note: Picture showing the scale is the same Tri but with the older 2" props. (Weights the same though)
Hover time 8:45 (confirmed)
Acro time 3:50 (confirmed)

Video
Updated 3/28/2020 with Nano Whirlygig's 1st spring flight. (man I'm out of practice)

You went back from Dronin to Betaflight? Is BF back to being ok for tri's?

No reason to stay wth dRonin considering the lack of forum support, lack of development and lack of features.

My son (8 years) made a iPhone video of the nano tri earlier today. Came out pretty good despite the very obvious prop wash.. The copter was flown at 30% throttle scaling to make it more manageable for my son learning to fly Acro.

When i have chance I'll post it on Youtube and post the link.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
