This is a derivative from my original Source One v0.1 5" Slammed 5s build (https://rotorbuilds.com/build/23386). I put more effort in to this build because I 3d printed all new parts to match the green motors. The camera mount is a remixed 3d model that was designed for a Floss 2.0 frame. I had to shorten it to fit the 20mm standoff and modify the bottom of the mount to fit an Immortal T antenna. I was able to maintain slammed profile even though I converted it to a digital DJI FPV System. But in order to get the air unit to fit, I had to remove 2 of the middle rear standoffs and I used double side tape to secure it to the frame. I also rotated the 4in1 ESC clockwise 90 degrees because the power leads were way to close to the DJI Air Unit. Technically there was space, but it was literally less than 1mm gap, so that was way too close for comfort. Because I rotated the ESC, I did have to remap it in Betaflight, but that was easy to do in CLI.
The only thing left that I never got around to making is the rear antenna mount. I was planning to create a simple mounted that would sit on the top plate and it will support antenna at a 30-degree angle, but that never happen. As it currently stands, the quad’s dry weigh is 402g and the includes everything except for the antennas and mount.
Unfortunately, this build was short lived because I end up selling this frame to a friend. But I did move all the electronics to a Floss 2.0 frame (https://rotorbuilds.com/build/23808).
The single biggest mistake with this build is how I mounted the capacitors because the solder pads ripped off for both caps, so I end up soldering one larger 1000uf cap right at the power lead.
I was curious if you'd be willing to release the STL for the camera mount? I'm using a v4/HD and would love to not have props-in-view. Thanks so much!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
Read moreWith the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Could you post the files that you made for it please? That would make my build easier as I don't know how to remix very well.
