well maybe resin printed frames dont hold up so well... Back to the 2" tinyhawk race frame. this time the weight is 91g auw with the runcam thumb attached.
this is the fourth build in my search for a small and light carrier for the runcam thumb camera.
so far, the 1s 40mm whoop carrier gives the smoothest footage but with very limited power/agility.

with the 2s 2.3" build gave better power and agility but introduced camera shudder at higher speeds.

next build used 2" props on a 2.5" printed tinyhawk freestyle frame. this was the best compromise of flyability and decent/stable footage. unfortunately, my resin printed frame was slightly heavier and far too brittle for regular flying.

the current build reverts to the 2" carbon frame from the tinyhawk II race edition(what i had) modified to hold m2 screws /standoffs and fitted with a semi rigid canopy printed with a sirayatech tenacious flexible resin blend.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
