FINALLY got my own.... Love love love love it.....
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. How do you like 4in props on those motors? Do you think you'd feel a light HD cam on a build like this?
These props are light enough to where it flies perfectly. Its hard to describe how it flies but its almost intuitive. You can tell theres no excess mass to it and the direction change is just instantaneous. You could probably do a light camera on it but it just flies so well how I have it that I probably wont even try to mount one. This thing is 204g as is. If I yank the braces off it drops down to 199g.
Sounds great! I may have to do a 4in at some point.
What sort of flight times do you get with an 850? Thinking of doing a light 4in build as well.
The brand new tattu 850 gets me 4:30. The crappier Apache (20mohm resistance) get me 2-3 minutes. so its actually surprisingly efficient
What is the AUW (no Lipo)?
I got 3-4 mins on a Pulse 650mAh 4S.
Still have to try the 850 4S Tattu
204g as is. I could drop another 20-30g if I swapped some stuff out but I like it as is.
