Yet another zmr250 clone build. Started with a kit off Amazon. Esc were junk and I ended up replacing them with dys 20a esc with blheli. Motors spin up at the exact same time and sounds so much better than the generic controllers from the kit. Switched the flight controller from a cc3d to the flip32. Also using a matek pdb. Still planning to add fpv soon. Using runcam HD 2 for filming.
Running spektrum dx6i. Considering an Tanaris.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I bet you could shave off a fair amount of weight by cutting the excess wire and removing the bullet connectors. Otherwise it looks like a nice starter build. Time for FPV gear now!
I'll end up keeping the bullet connectors because I cut the wires too short. I shortened 2 esc wires, but left the other tucked to keep it tidy. Fpv is definitely next. I don't have more than 1.5 hrs stick time so I'm not super comfortable with using goggles yet. Still working out my tune.
You could always start with a screen so you can maintain LOS while flying FPV.
I think that's the route I'll take. Maybe pick up the quantum kit from hobby king and just use the screen till I'm more comfortable.
That's an idea. I have a cheap 7" monitor mounted to my TX and it works quite well. I'd love to have a headset though.
Hobby king version is super cheap. Compared to a fat shark anyhow. Might see what the LHS has this weekend
