My first scratch built quad. This began as plans to transfer the guts from my crashed CX-20 and quickly changed into a full scratch build.

Just added some APC 1045 balanced props, vibes now amazingly low and loiter rock steady!
Just upgraded the RX and TX to FrSky DJT and non telemetry RX for now. Upgraded the antenna as well, all this to boost range. I have my OSD working now too.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

How's the picture quality on that monitor? I just bought a cheap 7" rear-view monitor and the pixel density isn't so great, nor is the brightness, but it gets the job done. I've got Google cardboard, Easycap and Easycap viewer, but I'm just waiting for them to release cardboard support in the app. Looking forward to trying my uber-cheap FPV goggles.
I'll let you know, I haven't actually used it yet, still waiting for the GoPro video out cable to arrive.
That's what's been holding me up as well. Since I switched to the Xiaomi Yi I had to wait a month for the cable, but when it arrived it was the wrong cable. I only just now received the replacement. I'm looking forward to getting back into some FPV flight.
I've used the monitor once, picture quality was pretty good. The glare from the Sunnis a different story, but it was really sunny out.
How is the battery life on it?
I charge the monitor after about two outings with the quad, normally running through a couple of bats each time. So probably around 1.5 hours total use before I charge.
