Tricopters are Boss. And even better are foldabe Tricopters you can take everywhere.
I only have pictures without the motors, dont exactly know why.
But i can say this Frame is great. even with the extension due to the FPV camera mount
(which i got from here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:852768)
the whole craft can fold down to the size of a small bottle of water, allowing you to just put it in the sidepocket of your packpack.
Another great feature is that you can run a lot of wires on the inside of the craft, aswell that the FC can be mounted in a safe bay at the bottom, which i used for my PDB.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Very unique and cool design! I'd love a tricopter myself some day and for a price like this, that can't be beat. Only thing that scares me is the materials used on the frame, I'm not quite THAT good of a pilot yet.
Thanks for the build.
I wouldnt recommend it for racing or acro flying. More of an transportable AP solution when combined with 7“ props
Interesting. Would be hard to get decent footage without a gimbal though.
yeah aerial videography is near imposible without a gimbal, but you can still record using a gopro 3/4 and extract single 4k images
