I am building this quad for my brother. I want to throw away the included PDB (stability issues when using only the fiber glass plate?) and use a Matek or GEPRC PDB like this one (https://www.banggood.com/GEPRC-XT60-PDB-5V-12V-Dual-BEC-PDB-with-LC-Filter-for-RC-Multirotors-p-1154841.html)
I would like to use a 4in1 esc but since I started out with a x220 wizard two months ago I saw how easy it seems to burn a ESC as beginner and the easyness to replace it when using single ESCs. Since my brother has no FPV experience and will likely crash a few times, I want to be able to replace the ESCs quick and cheap at 7€ a piece (https://www.banggood.com/Racerstar-RS30A-30A-Blheli_S-OPTO-2-4S-ESC-Support-Oneshot42-Multishot-for-FPV-Racing-p-1063907.html) Are the V2 really worth 15€ more?
As for the VTX, I am currently deciding between the VTX03 and the TX526. I think I will go for the TX526 since I have the 12V on the PDB anyway and I can use the aomways which I planned to buy for his VR007 Pro goggles anyway - also looks more "professional" if you ask me and worked pretty nice on my own wizard.
Not sure about the motors, but something cheap from racerstar. 2205 2300kv but maybe I will test out something better.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

You might want to look into the newer BLHeli_32 ESCs. They aren't much more money and you can run Dshot1200.
Do you think it's noticeable for a total beginner? The ones I found are more than double as much as these are.
It's probably not too noticeable for a beginner, so you should be okay going with the budget ESCs to start.
