First go with a 20x20 stack. I originally wanted to go with a 30x30, but there just wasn't enough room for the 4-in-1 esc I had . Thanks for checking it out. Everything but battery is 133 grams.
Awesome build! I'm working on a sparrow build now, going slow to make sure everything is perfect. While I went to college for electronics and electricity and computer networking, my soldering skills are basic at best. I did build a lisam 210 about 6 months ago but the hglrc stack has some small solder spots. I'm practically using the same components as yours except the emax 1306's, I'm using the 3300kv version of the motors and the elf cam that comes with the combo stack. Love it. I should be doing a maiden in a week or so woohoo.
Hi there,
I'm glad that I found your build here, as I will build a slightly different Sparrow soon.
I will us the HGLRC XJB F428 and I like to know:
I would love to see a pic of it too ^^
Thx mate and have great weekend + safe flight :P

which 4in1 30x30 ESC did you have that did not fit? I'm planning to build one of these with the runcam split and 30x30 4in1 and I'm hoping it will all fit
I had an emax magnum stack I was hoping to use. I also wanted to use a run cam split, but once the stack was not going to fit I abandoned that idea. Still looking for a good 3 inch frame for the split.
That being said, I'm really happy with how this build came together with the hglrc stack. Juat added a video from the dvr...
Great to finally see a build using this frame. Wow, that's light! I thought this frame might be a little heavy, but with those motors you did pretty well.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
Read moreWith the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Do you know the weight of the aluminium top part (the canopy) with its screws and standoffs? Without the carbon base frame. Thanks!
