A tiny FPV rig for tooling around the house. The only part I don't have listed here is the antennae which I had laying around from some other FPV equipment.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Looks like a lot of fun. What did you use for your antenna?
Broke up a rubber ducky antennae and used it's guts. It doesn't have the range I'd like so I may replace it with a cloverleaf some day. Good enough for around the house, not enough for a big field.
Might be able to reduce the load with one designed for a micro. Every gram counts! You may just get another minute of flight time. How much time are you getting now?
Right now I'm at about 44 grams sans battery and I'm getting about 5 minutes of flight time. Granted about two of those minutes are carpet skimming, but I'm pretty happy with that. But agreed, every gram counts. I could probably also trim a bit of wire out of the build and maybe even a bit of frame.
That's not bad for 44g!
