First time build, based on whiffles Wizard Killer II drmb's iX5, with some upgrades. Been flying and fixing PNPs (furibee fuuton, arfun90), it's time to move on. Biggest upgrade over existing quads is an F4 controller with onboard blackbox support, followed by the runcam swift2. Looking forward to getting insight into the tune via blackbox explorer.

Build was easy, with one minor hitch. I couldn't get a video signal after wiring the cam and vtx. The root cause was not setting the transmit mw level on the vtx526. By default the tx526 vtx is disabled, even when powered on. I followed Bardwell's guide on how to wire an AIO to 4 in 1 to get proper current sensing - this worked without issue.

Update: Maiden flight yesterday, albeit in very limited space. Flashed betaflight 3.2 stable, with dynamic filters enabled. By far the smoothest flying quad I've flown, default PIDs. Looking forward to dialing it in.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
