Her name is Alberta after the female gators mascot. This is only my second build third if you count my whoop. But this thing was tough! It made my chameleon feel like a walk in the park. A mosquito couldn't fit under the canopy. It took a few hours just figuring out what spacers and standoffs to use and what order to stack everything. I didn't use the top plate and I used screws and nuts on the front of the stack because the camera really limits your height. I had to use standoffs on the back of the stack so I could screw the canopy down. I don't like the camera mount cause it holds the camera by the lens so the base can still move around. I added some hot glue for more stability. But this thing rips! I am super impressed with the speed and agility of this thing. One thing is for certain, she does not like to go slow. Her weight is 72 grams without battery and AUW is 104 grams. Perfect park flyer! More pics and videos coming on Instagram @bdybldg_fpv

It is a little tough cramming everything in there. Glad to see others building this awesome frame. Mine is the "Minuscule Monster" for comparison.

Yeah i seen yours before i built its pretty sweet! I have to find a way to protect my lens without obstructing the view cause i already scratched the lens and broke the lock ring. I was thinking maybe glueing a little piece of rubber above the lens.

Thanks man, shes not done yet but can't help but fly her. You may try just some hot glue. You'll have to reapply every now and then from crashing but it works well.

Awesome build! Video is so much better with the circular antenna vs dipole. Such a little beast the Atom 83 is.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
