This is a rebuild of the parts from my Intrepid 3" build. I was looking to redo things a little cleaner and after building the Tokio 5" I was pretty excited to try the Phuket. The canopy isn't injection molded or anything, and this frame is designed for a AIO FC/4IO-ESC/PDB single-stack, but it works well enough with the single ESCs and a little creative wire routing. I probably should be running 2800kV or 3250kV with the 3076 props, as the weight is right around 280g with a 850mAh pack and amps will probably get close to the limit at full throttle - but these motors need to be pushed until they don't spin anymore before I try anything else.
The canopy glows in the dark! Cool!
OldRadioTransmission makes a stubby Pagoda2Extreme, and that's dope. Pagoda antennae of all types have become my goto, the performance is excellent and the cost is nearly 1/4 of the newest, fanciest, latest options. Check out Maarten Baert's website for more info: Maarten Baert's website

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
