Prototype 8"/9" Y6

A development of the macro quad frame I designed earlier this year (1, 2), for tricopter/Y6 builds. I wanted to maintain the same overall length of the carbon parts as the quad frame (240mm), but in order to keep all the arms of equal length for aesthetic purposes, while accommodating a rear arm, I had to shift the front arms backwards. In hindsight the resulting front overhang is a bit much & could do with shortening for a v2.

Weighs about 150g more than the final incarnation of my Everycopter Y6 (which donated the electronics), but adds a whole lot more practicality with regards to space for mounting batteries/payloads.

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
