Introducing Falcon 185. Carbon fiber HD camera mount. Lower SMA antenna mount. Wide motor mounts for extra protection. Velcro strap slots. Falcon 185 has every feature you ever wanted in Shrike, a simpler and more durable design than Mixsuko and Kreiger, and is lighter, shorter, and faster than all of them.

At 290g dry and 409g all up with a 4S 1000mAh, Falcon is light, but doesn't sacrifice durability in the process. Add a GoPro Session, and Falcon is ready for HD racing at only 486g.

Falcon 185 is available now at Multirotor Superstore, FPV Aces, and Drone Eclipse!

Just when I check out multirotor for this and don't find it, come back here to see it delayed! What happened? Will it also be available on armattanproduction.com?

So the good news is I can ship your Falcon frame tomorrow. The bad news is the packaging and stickers are delayed, so you won't get those (and I can't send the frames out to the dealer without packaging).

Can you send me a direct message with your e-mail address? I'll get you hooked up.

Did you put out another video racing somebody at that same warehouse? I think I saw that on reddit.

IRC and I go way back, but I just don't have a client I like anymore. I used mIRC for years before I switched to Mac, but after that I never found a decent alternative. Plus, I like the luxury of doing everything in my browser.

That's fair, I guess I need to get it a chance. But then I'll see work stuff in the tabs right next to my play stuff... Kind of a buzz kill :P

You're thinking about it the wrong way. What will it always look like you're doing in Slack at the desk? =D

This guide will walk you through the process of building your first FPV quad. The goal with this design was to build a low-cost, lightweight quad, yet powerful enough to safely carry a GoPro in close proximity areas. I chose these parts to minimize the amount of soldering at no cost to the quality. A typical build requires around 30 solders while this only needs 25. It's not a huge difference, but..

In late 2019 DJI made inroads into the FPV scene with their remarkable low-latency digital system. It gave us a 720p video feed with latency on-par with the status quo, analog video. Traditionally we've used analog video systems for low-latency video, but the video quality is far from ideal. It's a trade-off we've been willing to accept for the control. Now we've got the best of both worlds and what..
