A prototype Bullshark that fits 2.5" props and has a 3mm bottom plate. A replacement for my Atom mini frame.
I noticed that this build is considerably quieter than when I had the same components on the Atom mini. I also feel like there's less prop wash. I guess the stretch geometry makes for less turbulent air, compared to the more compact and deadcat geometry of the Atom mini.
I need to use the 20mm standoffs to fit everything. I don't know how lazd fit everything in 17mm, including an LED board under the shark fin! Maybe the trick is to stick the RX in between the ESCs and FC.
The DYS 2435 props aren't that great. They're quite brittle, and I didn't notice much more thrust compared to the Gemfan 2035's. I'm hoping to test the RotorX 2535s at some point.
So far, I've just had one really bad crash straight onto an arm, but it made it through.
Dry weight: 85g. Lazd's is only 76g. I'm guessing I've just got an extra 9g of hot glue on mine.
AUW w/ Tattu 450mah: 128g
PIDs aren't perfect, but they work well enough for the moment:
